Home remedies to cure intestinal worms:

Seeds of fresh ripe papaya, administered in 5 gm to 10 gm doses with water are an excellent remedy for intestinal worms. Other anthelminthics (Drugs which destroy intestinal worms) are fresh seeds of palash (flame of the forest), vidanga (Embelia ribes), or baheda, one of the triphalas. Tender leaves of the Indian coral, mandar, given with honey are also helpful. "Vidanga" and "palash" seeds ground together should be administered in one spoonful doses three times a day. Haridra (Curcuma longa) is also very helpful in case the powder of the rhizome of this plant is given in a dose of one teaspoonful, three times a day, with a cup of milk. This drug is also useful in urticaria and fevers which may be associated with intestinal worms. Raw "areca" nut should be ground on a piece of stone and mixed with the juice of lime. It destroys thread worms more effectively then any other remedies. Seeds of round bitter gourd, which is called "tumbi" in India, in a quantity of 200 mg, taken with buttermilk, will deal with the most intractable case of intestinal worms.
